DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Community Development supervises the department’s professional, technical, and clerical staff. The CD Department focuses on work in the following areas: CDBG grant application and management, infrastructure and social services project management, housing rehabilitation, historic preservation, procurement, brownfields, and other projects. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, administrative, and problem-solving skills, as well as an affinity for process improvement and charting the course of the future of the department.

The deadline for the first review is Thursday, September 21, 2023. While the position will remain open until Thursday, October 5, 2023, or the recruitment is cancelled, first consideration will be given to applications meeting the September 21^st deadline.
