The Platting Section provides services regarding the platting of lands, and vacation of plats, easements, rights-of-way, and other encumbrances. The Senior Planner position is responsible for the coordination of various platting application requests and associated assignments. Job functions include preparing staff reports, preparing agenda items for the County Commission, and communicating with county agencies, developers, and attorneys concerning projects and related processes. The position prepares and processes plat note amendment agreements to County Attorney’s Office for recordation. The position also provides customers and staff with technical support throughout the review process while recommending program and procedural changes.
