Four Possible Scenarios of Tulsa's Future

PLANiTULSA designed four future growth scenarios to test a range of growth impacts. Citywide and small area workshop input directly informed the scenario development.

Each scenario tells a different story for the future of Tulsa. They show how different land use and transportation patterns determine where people work, live, and play, and how they get around town.

Scenario A: Trends Continue
follows a business as usual trend of growing outward and beyond the city.

Scenario B: Main Streets
follows a traditional model of growth along Main Streets.

Scenario C: New Centers
directs growth into New Centers as well as downtown.

Scenario D: Centered City
captures most growth within the downtown core and close-in neighborhood centers.

Scenario Indicators
These scenario indicators help measure the performance of each scenario over the next couple decades based on its impact on people, the economy, transportation and the community and environment.

Scenarios at a Glance
This section allows you to review all the scenarios at once.
