Call for Nominations! 2018 Secretary’s Awards for Healthy Homes

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, in partnership with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the fourth annual Secretary’s Awards for Healthy Homes. These awards recognize excellence in healthy housing innovation and achievement in four categories: Public Housing/Multifamily Housing; Policy and Education Innovation; Cross-Program Coordination; and Research.

Nominations for activities or policies that show measurable benefits in the health of residents, individuals, or children will be accepted through the online application format until 11:59:59 p.m. (EST) on February 28, 2018. To submit a nomination, please use the online application form, available here. Applicants will be notified of their application’s status beginning May 1, 2018, and the award recipients will be honored at the 2018 NEHA AEC and HUD Healthy Homes Conference, June 27, 2018, in Anaheim, California.
