Los Angeles Housing Department

Note: you must call/e-mail to receive bid package

The Los Angeles Housing Department was awarded a grant through the Downtown Rebound Planning Grant NOFA (CA Department of Housing & Community Development).

Generally, the purpose of the grant is to facilitate development of infill housing, adaptive reuse, higher density residential development, and mixed-use development.

The study area is Downtown Los Angeles. We are using the boundaries of the Central City Community Plan Area as defined by the LA Planning Department. Those boundaries are Cesar Chavez Av (N), 10 Fwy (S), Alameda St (E), 110 Fwy (W). A map will be sent with the bid package.

A total of $35,000 has been budgeted for completion of this study. We understand that the budgeted amount may be greater or less than needed to complete all tasks. Staff is currently working on obtaining additional funding, should it become necessary. The proposed start date for this scope of work is February 2002.
