Apply for the HUD Work-Study Program at Cal Poly
The City and Regional Planning Department at Cal Poly is inviting applications for students who wish to participate in the Community Development Work-Study Program sponsored by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development?s Office of University Programs. The program?s objective is to provide assistance to economically disadvantaged and minority students, building a cadre of skilled community development specialists that reflects the state?s diversity. The City and Regional Planning program provides a very high quality and professionally oriented education. Graduates are valued for their practical skills and employment placement is at the 100% level. The MCRP program is designed for students who have majored in related fields, such as design, environmental studies, engineering and the social sciences and who are motivated to apply their diverse skills and knowledge to issues of urban development and change. The program mixes theory with hands on experience.
It is nationally accredited and has won many state and national awards for excellence. Students are highly qualified, diverse, and committed. The faculty is renown for both its academic and professional accomplishments and is equally committed to student success.
