As cities and communities grow and evolve, there is an increasing need for forward thinkers with the ability to develop strategic and innovative solutions for today's evolving planning challenges.
Greater Orlando welcomes over 1,000 new residents each week providing dynamic experiences for students to apply program principles to real-world projects in partnership with local cities and counties within the heart of the burgeoning Central Florida area. Students have a unique opportunity to present their projects - on topics such as affordable housing development models, healthy community plans, and assessments of sustainable transportation needs - directly to local government administrators and council members. UCF's urban and regional planning graduate program produces graduates ready to use their analytical and managerial skills to support diverse and growing communities, while emphasizing sustainability, equity and social responsibility.
Learn more about the program with Dr. Luis Santiago, program director for UCF’s urban and regional planning graduate programs, in a special virtual open house on March 23, 2021 at 12:00pm EST.
