Call for Nominations: 2020 Secretary's Awards for Healthy Homes

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, in partnership with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the sixth annual Secretary's Awards for Healthy Homes. These awards provide a national platform to showcase results from a range of housing and indoor environmental health programs. Nominations will be considered in one of six categories: Public Housing, Multifamily Housing, Policy Innovation, Cross-Program Coordination, Innovation in Education and Communities, and Research. Only one application will be accepted per organization, but organizations may participate as partnering organizations in more than one application.

Please submit a Letter of Intent by February 17, 2020, to [email protected]. The Letter of Intent may take the form of a letter or an e-mail, but it must include the organization name and contact person. The nomination deadline is 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time, March 10, 2020. Nominations will only be accepted through the online application form. Applicants will be notified of their status around May 8, 2020. Award recipients will be honored at the 2020 NEHA Annual Education Conference and Exhibition on July 15, 2020, in New York City, NY.
